Toyota Corolla wiper blades: common questions
What size wiper blades does a Toyota Corolla take?
- 26 inches on the driver's side and 16 inches on the passenger's side.
Can you fit a longer wiper blade on a Toyota Corolla?
- Going up one inch usually clears, but it is not free: an oversized driver's blade can overlap the passenger blade at the top of the sweep, or run off the edge of the glass and chatter. The factory sizes are chosen to sweep the maximum area without contact.
What wiper connector does a Toyota Corolla use?
- Sedan is 26/16 with hook arms (back to the E140 sizes); the E210 hatchback differs (26/14 front plus a 10-in rear blade). Don't cross-shop the two bodies. Blade packaging lists the connector type. Match it or the adapter will not latch.
