Nissan Altima wiper blades: common questions
What size wiper blades does a Nissan Altima take?
- 26 inches on the driver's side and 17 inches on the passenger's side.
Can you fit a longer wiper blade on a Nissan Altima?
- Going up one inch usually clears, but it is not free: an oversized driver's blade can overlap the passenger blade at the top of the sweep, or run off the edge of the glass and chatter. The factory sizes are chosen to sweep the maximum area without contact.
What wiper connector does a Nissan Altima use?
- Sizes changed from the previous generation's 28/16, small hook (9x3) connector. Blade packaging lists the connector type. Match it or the adapter will not latch.
