Which Honda Civic model years does this cover?
These headlight bulbs specifications apply to every Honda Civic built from 2022 through 2025 — the 11th generation (FE/FL), compact sedan and hatchback. What changed during the 2022–2025 Honda Civic
- 2022Generation launch: sedan and hatchback (no coupe). Si returns at 200 hp, 6MT only.

- 2025Facelift. 1.5T EX/Touring replaced by the 200-hp two-motor hybrid (Sport Hybrid / Sport Touring Hybrid, 50/47 mpg); LX and Sport keep the 2.0L. Hybrid gets a 10.6-gal tank and an under-hood 12V battery.
2022–2025 Honda Civic headlight bulbs: common questions
What headlight bulb does a 2022–2025 Honda Civic use?
- LED (standard on all trims; sealed unit, no user-replaceable bulb) for the low beam and 9005 (HB3) halogen on LX/Sport/EX; full LED on Touring/Sport Touring, Si, and Type R for the high beam. Trims with factory LED or HID projectors use a sealed assembly instead and are not bulb-serviceable.
Can you put LED bulbs in a 2022–2025 Honda Civic?
- Physically, yes, LED replacements exist in every common base. Whether they work well depends on the housing: a reflector housing designed around a halogen filament scatters LED output into oncoming traffic instead of down the road. Projector housings tolerate the swap far better. Some vehicles also flag the lower current draw as a bulb-out fault.
