# 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 Factory Maintenance Schedule

The factory maintenance schedule for the 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 covering every service through 75,000 miles. Exactly what is due at each interval, and where severe-service conditions change it.

## 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 maintenance schedule (Verified)

### 6,250 miles

- Rotate tires (or when tread-depth difference between tires reaches 2/32 in)
- Check tire pressures against the 42 psi placard

### 12,500 miles / 12 months

- Clean and lubricate brake calipers (only if driven in a region where roads are salted in winter)

### 25,000 miles / 24 months

- Replace both cabin air filters

### 50,000 miles / 48 months

- Brake fluid health check, test for moisture/contamination, replace only if needed

### 75,000 miles / 72 months

- Replace A/C desiccant bag (2017-2020 cars without heat pump only. Tesla dropped the requirement for heat-pump cars)

Note: Tesla publishes condition-based intervals, not annual service, mileage figures shown assume ~12,500 mi/year and the months column is Tesla's actual schedule. No oil changes, no spark plugs, no engine air filter. HEPA-equipped cars: replace the HEPA/carbon filters every 3 years.

These service schedule specifications apply to every Tesla Model 3 built from 2017 through 2023, the 1st generation (original, pre-Highland), compact ev sedan. Nothing in this specification changes between those model years.
