# 2012-2017 Jeep Wrangler Factory Maintenance Schedule

The factory maintenance schedule for the 2012-2017 Jeep Wrangler covering every service through 100,000 miles. Exactly what is due at each interval, and where severe-service conditions change it.

## 2012-2017 Jeep Wrangler maintenance schedule (Check your manual)

### 5,000 miles / 6 months

- Rotate tires
- Inspect brakes, fluid levels, wipers
- Off-road use: inspect skid plates, u-joints, driveshaft

### 10,000 miles / 12 months

- Replace engine oil and filter (per oil-life monitor)
- All 5,000-mile items

### 30,000 miles / 36 months

- Replace engine air filter
- Replace cabin air filter (if equipped)
- Inspect ball joints, tie rod ends, track bar, steering damper
- Inspect front/rear axle and transfer case fluid

### 60,000 miles / 72 months

- Repeat 30,000-mile items
- Replace transfer case and differential fluid (sooner if driven off-road/through water)

### 100,000 miles / 120 months

- Replace engine coolant (then every 50,000 mi)
- Replace spark plugs

Note: Off-road/water-fording use is 'severe service' for this vehicle, halve the fluid-change intervals for axles, transfer case, and oil versus the normal schedule.
