Fitment, replacement notes, and what to check before you buy. **Quick answer**: The 2023-2025 Honda Accord uses a Group 47 (H5/LN2) battery. ## 2023-2025 Honda Accord battery specifications (High confidence) | Spec | Value | | --- | --- | | BCI group size | 47 (H5/LN2) | | Battery type | EFB | | AGM required | No | | Location | Engine bay, driver side | Note: Both the 1.5T and the hybrid use the DIN H5 (Group 47) format; parts retailers list H5 EFB/AGM fitments for all 2023+ trims. AGM is a worthwhile upgrade for stop-start duty. ## 2.0L Hybrid (LFC i-MMD 4th-gen two-motor, 204 hp combined) battery (Check your manual) | Spec | Value | | --- | --- | | BCI group size | 47 (H5/LN2) 12V, engine bay | | Battery type | EFB | | Location | Engine bay (high-voltage pack under the rear seat) | Note: 12V battery is under the hood and boots the hybrid system only, no cranking load. EFB from the factory; AGM replacements are fine. A dead 12V means the car won't 'READY' even with a full hybrid pack, jump at the 12V terminals per the manual. ## Which Honda Accord model years does this cover? These battery specifications apply to every Honda Accord built from 2023 through 2025, the 11th generation, mid-size sedan (hybrid-led lineup).
