Going up one inch usually clears, but it is not free: an oversized driver's blade can overlap the passenger blade at the top of the sweep, or run off the edge of the glass and chatter. The factory sizes are chosen to sweep the maximum area without contact. ### What wiper connector does a Ford Fusion use? Consistent 26 in / 26 in fitment reported across major aftermarket retailers (Amazon, Walmart) for the full 2013-2020 range; a minority of older fitment guides list a shorter passenger blade, so measure your old blade if in doubt.. Blade packaging lists the connector type. Match it or the adapter will not latch. ## Sources - [Wikipedia, Ford Fusion (Americas), second-generation engine table and recall summary](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Fusion_(Americas)) - [AMSOIL lookup, 2013-2018 Ford Fusion oil capacity & viscosity by engine code](https://www.amsoil.com/lookup/auto-and-light-truck/2013/ford/fusion/) - [Ford dealer service content, Fusion capacities & specifications (6F35 ATF, coolant, brake fluid)](https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?variantid=2973) - [NHTSA recall 12V-551, 1.6L EcoBoost engine/cooling fire risk](https://www.csmonitor.com/Business/In-Gear/2012/1202/Ford-recalls-89-000-Escapes-Fusions-for-fire-risk) - [NHTSA recall 17V-209 / 17S09, 1.6L EcoBoost coolant level sensor](https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RCMN-17V209-3326.pdf) - [NHTSA recall 19V-362 / 19S16, shift cable bushing](https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2019/RCMN-19V362-9180.pdf) - [NHTSA recall 22V-413 / 22S43, shift cable bushing (expanded)](https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2022/RCLRPT-22V413-2380.PDF) - [NHTSA recall 19V-632 / 19S26, steering gear motor bolt corrosion](https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2019/RCLRPT-19V632-3962.PDF) - [NHTSA recall 20V-177 / 20S15, door latch](https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2020/RCLRPT-20V177-3275.PDF) - [Edmunds, 2013 Ford Fusion Specs & Features (fuel tank, curb weight)](https://www.edmunds.com/ford/fusion/2013/features-specs/) - [Ford Fusion bolt pattern / lug torque guide](https://www.kipardoracing.com/ford-fusion-bolt-pattern-guide-2006-2020-wheel-sizes-offset-compatibility-fitment-specs/) ## Find your exact Fusion - [2020](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2020) - [2019](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2019) - [2018](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2018) - [2017](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2017) - [2016](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2016) - [2015](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2015) - [2014](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2014) - [2013](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2013) - [2012](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/2012) More Ford Fusion guides: - [Oil & filter](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/oil) - [Battery](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/battery) - [Tires & wheels](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/tires) - [Air & cabin filters](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/filters) - [Bulbs](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/bulbs) - [Brakes](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/brakes) - [Fluids](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/fluids) - [Service schedule](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/service-schedule) - [Problems & reliability](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/common-problems) - [Oil light reset](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/oil-reset) - [Key fob battery](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/key-fob-battery) - [Specs](https://whichcarparts.com/cars/ford/fusion/specs) Specifications vary with engine option, production date, and market.
